Price: A+ You basically get a custom meal for around $8 including tax & tip Flavor: A+ Fresh, fresh, fresh - very nice. Simple seasoning the variety of salsa is what is going to make your flavors stand out. I recommend the beef that isn't steak - it's like mexican pot-roast - very tender and savory. The chips are fried fresh in rounds. I really like the burrito bowl with extra meat, guacamole, and a ton of their fresh Pico de Gallo and corn salad. Menu: B The menu has about 5 different ways you can have them put about 6-8 ingredients together to create your custom meal. Very simple - you know what you're going there for. I can't really say it's lacking because it accomplishes it's purpose... I give it a B because I think they should put fajitas and a custom queso and/ verde in the mix - definitely think fajitas would fit with their mojo and havinig more grilled veggies in my custom bowl would be fabulous. Atmosphere: B Lots of windows, great natural light. Very clean everywhere you look. Exposed ceiling overhead. It's a little loud due to all the glass, concrete, aluminum, lack of insulation and untreated plywood in the place. The whole atmosphere is "Green" - conservative. Lots of recycled material textiles but nothing soft. Conservative menu choices and prices... but reasonably kosher staff. Has an air-conditioned Southern California small, quirky, cafeteria feel to it.

The truth of the matter is that the food is good the people are nice but the wait for the food is unbearably long and the portions they give you are unsettling small. After waiting 45 minutes in line I was greeted by a friendly smile that was happy to serve and willing to answer any questions I might have with accurate information unfortunately the meal afterwards couldn't be held up to the same standards. First I was given a large portion of rice. There was more rice than anything then I had to ask for extra extra meat and then for more on top of that. Now after that things moved along faster. Then I get to check out where I'm charged for my extremes extras of meat. After the wait and pricing I would do it again do the service and the taste and satisfaction of the food.

The first time I went there for lunch. The "bowl" I ordered was large, tasty, low-fat and full of veggies. That kind of meal is hard to find in Arkansas. The burrito my friend had was full of delicious beef and chicken. I went back a few other times, but the portions kept dimishing in size. Ultimately, it appeared that the servers had been told to put three slivers of bell pepper and two of onion on the bowl. (Those are the choices of veggies now.) Because of that I probably won't go there often as it is quite a distance from my house. It just wasn't enough food for me or my friend, who is eleven. Of course, if he wants to go there we will.

I ordered takeout, and when I got home about 15 minutes later, I was surprised that everything was so cold. I suspect it wasn't very hot to begin with. I had the carnitas in a bowl, which had good flavor, with brown cilantro rice. The rice seemed a bit too crunchy. The portion seemed very large, enough for two meals, and I'm a big fella. I also ordered a side of chips and guacamole. The chips were extremely salty and not very fresh, and that ruined much of the rest of the meal. I will say that the chicken and steak both looked freshly grilled and very tasty. If I ever go back, I'll try one of those.

So this was actually my second trip to Chipotle. Last time I had three tacos which, as if by some act of God or magic, spontaneously became nachos the moment I bit into each of them. Really good nachos, but you must agree that really good nachos make pitiful tacos... but enough about last time! This time was amazing. It's a coworker's last day, and they ordered Chipotle. Being my second trip, the only thing I knew was that I didn't want tachos, so I looked for something on their online menu that might travel well. Soooo... bowl? Yes, bowl. I ordered a bowl with sofritas (some kind of "organic shredded tofu braised with chipotle chilis, roasted poblanos, and a blend of aromatic spices."), black beans, and roasted chili corn salsa. I also asked for chips and guac, because it seems like every time the subject of Chipotle arises, someone says their guac is awesome. Verified. To digress just a bit, I'm not a vegetarian, but I was at one point for two years. I try not to eat pork since this one time I did some research into how we treat them shortly after I learned that pigs are easier to train than dogs and smart as most primates, but I still eat beef, chicken, fish, and shellfish. I have a strong urge at times to be the guy in the office who orders the thing that makes everyone else shudder with disgust, and today that urge won. Today I learned that I could be a vegetarian again pretty easily, if I had a steady supply of good vegetarian food. I already look forward to going back for the same thing again. Two minor negative things about my order: - My chips were soggy with ... lime juice, I guess? Also, too salty. - It seemed like they did a poor job of mixing the ingredients, perhaps on purpose, as sometimes the bite would be balanced, and other times it would burn my mouth for ten minutes.

Ate lunch today with my daughter. She just got her learner's permit. and we chose Chipotle because she can drive there from our house. We arrived about 1:30pm and were both surprised that it was still crowded this long after noon. There were seven people in line in front of us, and the line didn't seem to be moving very quickly. I found out why when we got nearer to the counter. They have a practice of filling telephone and online orders in front of people waiting in the restaurant. Generally, I am a patient person, but I found it irritating that they took and filled my daughter's order then had me wait while they completed two orders from outside. The food was good and there was plenty of it for the price. There was no guacamole on offer today, and a posted sign indicated that they are having problems with the quality of their avocado supply. On the way out, we had trouble with our trash because the garbage can by the exit was overflowing. We will continue to eat here because it is one of my daughter's favorites, but I'll make it a point to show up a little later next time. As an alternative, the location at University and Markham seems to be a better-run operation.

I'm a big Chipotle fan but I was not impressed by this location. They were so cheap with everything, not friendly and the place was not clean.

No complaints about food quality. The overall service/flow, work culture in this store is really poor. This was on Sunday April 13th between 2.30-3.30pm. Fairly good number of customers still. I am not stereotyping or being racist here, but a few observations. There was a white girl working in the middle part of the line and the rest were all African American Employees. She was a bit tired, overworked or both and did not have much of a friendly attitude. The first person on the line a African American woman seemed lacking in the Chipotle employee qualities. The problem I saw there was a lot of other employees "pretending to work". There was only two workers and a cashier on the line. The floor was dirty and we were surprised to see the African American male employee cleaning the tables by wiping it all to the floor and not sweeping afterwards.I do not know if there was no manager there as it was a Sunday. The store is newer and has a nice set up to it, but the management seems to be lacking. There is no assistant manager or General manager in the store as of today according to the jobs advertised for the Little Rock Chipotle on April 14th 2014. If the management has some interest in excellence or meeting chipotle standards, please go to Texarkana and see how the smaller store is excellently run with employees who look relaxed and hardy enough for the job.

One of my favorite fast-food chains. Can be as healthy as you decide for it to be. Like their Guacamole and lime flavored chips. The only negative for me - too much of their stuff has raw onions in it. But that's a personal preference and I'm fine to eat around it.

I've lived in LR for a while now, and accidentally passed Chipotle. I'd been to it in other cities I've lived and visited, and love it. I finally made it a point to drive across town to grab a burrito bowl for lunch. Here's my experience, in a nutshell: Pros: This place has the same atmosphere as any Chipotle I've ever been to--loud, but not too loud, someone greets you as you walk in, typical decor and music The service was friendly. Someone walked around and checked on everyone during the 1/2 hour that I sat in the dining room. The guacamole was amazing. Cons: My brown rice was massively undercooked, and made it hard to enjoy my bowl. The dining room wasn't clean. There was a lot of food on the tables and floor. This location has several long, high tables and fairly few individual tables. Just my personal preference, but I despise forced socialization. Alternatively, though, you can sit at a barstool facing the window, and have people watch you stuff your face as they walk in or out. No, thanks. I would return again, but probably not during lunch time. The brown rice problem was probably a fluke, and during non-rush times, I could guarantee myself one of the coveted private tables.

Food was fine. I don't think I've ever gone wrong here. Girl behind the counter had to start my burrito over three times because she was not paying attention. She got it right on the third try and it was good.

I want to start off by saying how much I love Chipotle. I brought my young boys to Chipotle for a quick, family friendly meal. The line was long when we arrived but that was to be expected on a Friday night. As we waited in line a few college aged young adults were waiting behind us. As my children innocently stood in line the young adults behind us used such words as "Mother Fucker" and Shit" in their conversation. As I'm about to leave I noticed that 4 Chipotle workers come and greet these individuals as if they were in a night club, hugging and discussing their personal life. When we finally get a chance to place our order the girl at the tortilla machine is so rude the the people in front of us that I could barely contain myself. This couple was a very nice couple and English is their second language. The girl rolled her eyes and proceeded to tell her coworker how aggravating they were right in front of them. I finally got settled and went to pick up my delicious burrito and it fell apart because there was not enough foil around it. I eat Chipotle enough to know how my burrito should be wrapped. As I'm trying to eat my poorly constructed burrito I smell cigarette smoke. I look over and those same young adults are smoking as the Chipotle workers socialize with them.

My husband and I are from California, and when we found out Chipotle opened out in Little Rock, we just had to go! We went two weeks or so after they opened, so I expected a long wait. An hour wait isn't worth it for tacos and a burrito, but we drove thirty minutes out so we weren't going to leave (like many other customers did). The service was great. The people who work there were all friendly, and I love feeling welcomed at a restaurant (including fast food places). Anyways, I got my usual beef tacos with guacamole. I was a little disappointed because the guacamole is pretty expensive and the girl who put them on my taco was kind of in a rush and she didn't barely gave me any. I'm paying over $1s worth of guacamole.. and I probably only got 1 and half tbsps! Regardless, I still enjoyed my tacos. My husband got the beef burrito, and he said it was alright. In our opinion, the burritos would do so much better with a little bit of rice and way more meat. As far as price-wise, I don't think I'll be coming here often just because it's so expensive. 4 tacos, a burrito, and a large drink came up to over $27. Although I do respect Chipotle for feeding the homeless their leftovers rather than throwing them out.

They are too rush rush and their customer service does not benefit from it. Food gets thrown together and if you ask for onions you may end up with two pieces.

Sooo glad Little Rock FINALLY has a fast food burito joint. Even if it is a chain restaurant. I eat here all the time. It's over crowded at lunch time though. Hard to find a seat and the line goes out the door sometimes. But if going to do fast food - this is the place for me.

Coming from California, I was expecting consistency in my burrito from Chipotle. When I went they were out of the hot sauce (wtf right?) and the beef was cold. I know this is crazy but it's odd seeing Cauasians working at a Chipotle...back home, in Cali, tried-and-true Mexicans worked there and food/service was better.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
